Ask any experienced hang glider or paraglider pilot about the
inescapable discomfort of a full bladder on a long cross country flight. It’s
torture! Once your bladder’s full your concentration starts to waiver and
before you know what’s going on you’ve either wet yourself or landed.
Aside from some very acrobatic manoeuvres that leave you
exposed to collapses and turbulence on a paraglider, or a thorough soaking,
you’re pretty much stuffed once the urge to pee comes on.
The XCPee is a snug fitting thick rubber condom that attaches
to a metre long waste tube. Discreetly fit the XCPee condom in private then on
launch attach the waste tube and away you go.
With the waste tube routed to carry your urine away you can
pee as much as you like in total confidence that, should you need to hitch
home, you’ll not be stinking like you’re incontinent.
The XCPee comes as a single condom with the waste tube and
connector, or as a pack of ten.
Ozone’s David Dagualt, winner of the 2009 French XC
league, who flew 333km through the Alps this year uses them:
"Flying for ten hours requires you to drink and pee. If you
can't pee easily, you can't drink, then you can't relax, you can't think, you
fly badly and eventually you have to land. Using the XC Pee for the first time
this year has changed the game massively. Just stick it in the morning, launch,
drink, enjoy and fly far!”
The XCPee is available as individual units or as a pack of
ten.
